22 August 2017 - France Deny Wales U18 A Clean Sweep - The French got off to a flying start, scoring three tries in the first 17 minutes, through Mathieu Rodor, Florent Vanverberghe, and Matthis Lebel, with fly half Louis Carbonel converting for a 21-0 lead, leaving Wales in real trouble before they had even really begun.

21 August 2017 - Players Scorched As The SA Schools Blame-Game Fires Burn High - Did all of the players fail to perform – hell no! (Snyman, Van Niekerk, Du Plessis, Nhlabakanye, Martins were all very good if not excellent.) Are there many other factors beyond the control of the players that need urgent attention by the grownups involved? Clearly.

19 August 2017 - SA Schools Disappoint In U19 Series Finale - SA Schools coach Lance Sendin attributed his team’s 52-22 defeat against England at City Park Stadium in Cape Town on Saturday to missed opportunities and lapses in concentration on defence. The defeat left the team winless in the U19 International Series. 

19 August 2017 - England Have Named Their U18 Side For Their Final Game -  it’s been a good couple of weeks, a great learning experience for the players and coaches and we want to see that transferred onto the pitch. I want to see them enjoy the experience. Last year was a really physical game so this year we’ll try and exceed their physicality.”

18 August 2017 - Sendin Calls For Big Improvement In U19 Series Finale - The SA Schools team went down against Wales and France in their first two matches, while England comes off a 14-12 defeat against Wales, so both sides will be determined to bounce back strongly.

15 August 2017 - Sendin Disappointed As Mistakes Cost SA Schools Team - The SA Schools team had a number of opportunities to score in the match, but handling errors, bad decisions and lost lineouts at crucial times cost them dearly and coach Lance Sendin was frank in his assessment on those.

15 August 2017 - England U18 (12) defeated by Wales (14) in South Africa - "We've learnt a lot from these two games, now we have to bring it to South Africa Schools to get a win. We have a very good chance so we're all looking forward to that."

14 August 2017 - Sendin Reshuffles Pack For French Battle - SA Schools coach Lance Sendin reshuffled his pack for their second clash in the U19 International Series against France at Paarl Gymnasium on Tuesday, which will see a new front row and flank combination take to the field.

14 Aug 2017 - Stephan Van Der Bank Joins U/18 Bokkies - Johan van der Bank was informed this morning that he is to join the u/18 Bokkies in Stellenbosch for the remainder of the u/19 International Series against Wales, France and England.

11 August 2017 - Slow Start Costs SA Schools Against Wales - A slow start, ill-discipline and unforced errors cost the SA Schools team as they went down by 30-28 to Wales in their opening match of the Under-19 International Series at Paul Roos Gymnasium on Stellenbosch on Friday afternoon.

11 August 2017 - England u/18 (24) Defeat France u/18 (8) - Murley added: "I thought the guys came together really well, France are always a physical test and it's great to start the tour with a victory."

10 Aug 2017 - Gordon To Lead SA Schools Team Against Wales - Team Announced - Bidvest Waltons Golden Lions No 8 Travis Gordon will lead the SA Schools team, proudly sponsored by Coca-Cola, when they kick off their U19 International Series campaign on Friday against Wales at Paul Roos Gymnasium in Stellenbosch 

06 August 2017- England u/18 Squad Named For South African Tour - “We’ve chosen a strong, talented group and we will only focus on ourselves, the skills and principles that we think are important for this age group within our pathway. We’re really looking forward to spending time with the players;

04 August 2017 - SA Schools Team Kick Off Preparations On Sunday - The SA Schools team’s preparations for the U19 International Series is set to get underway on Sunday with the 28-member squad assembling at the Stellenbosch Academy of Sport where they will be put through their paces before the opening game on 11 August.

27 July 2017 - SA Schools Team Announced For u/19 Series - The SA Schools team, sponsored by Coca-Cola, will face Wales on Friday, 11 August at City Park Stadium in Crawford; France on Tuesday, 15 August, at Paarl Gymnasium; and England on Saturday, 19 August, at a venue yet to be confirmed.
